Children perform to welcome JetBlue

Local Schoolchildren from The Cayman Islands Performing Arts Company welcomed guests arriving on the inaugural JetBlue flight from New York to Grand Cayman on Thursday November 16 at Owen Roberts International Airport.

Choreographed by Patricia Bent and Donna Reid the dance troupe gave visitors a ‘Caymankind’ welcome upon their arrival.

The JetBlu flight was marking the first of its two new services into the Cayman Islands.

The US based airline known for its award-winning service and low fares, will operate a year round, non-stop service from New York, as well as a seasonal service from Boston, which is due to commence on Saturday 17th November.
