Grand Cayman, CAYMAN ISLANDS 9 April 2014 – CIBC FirstCaribbean has announced the appointment of Joy Callender as the bank’s new Associate Director of Retail Banking.  Fresh off her Turks and Caicos (TCI) team’s success as Branch of the Year in 2013, Callender took up her post in Cayman on 7 April.

Reporting jointly to the Managing Directors of the Cayman Islands and Retail, Business and International Banking, Callender will have responsibility for the entire Retail operation in Cayman. She brings a wealth of experience to this role, having worked as the District Manager for Retail, Wealth and Business Banking in TCI.

Callender’s career with CIBC FirstCaribbean began over ten years ago; she has served as Human Resources Manager in Barbados; Local Processing Centre Manager in Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Senior Branch Manager, Retail, Wealth and Business Banking in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands.  She is an Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
