CIEF finishes up high
Cayman Islands National Jumping Series finishes on a high note
On Sunday, May 29th, the Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation (CIEF) held the fourth and final leg of this season’s National Jumping Series at the Equestrian Center located on Linford Pearson Highway. Except for a 30-minute rain delay, the show went off without a hitch.
Highlights of Sunday’s show include first-time National Jumping Series wins by Marleigh Smith aboard Max in the 0.60-meter pony class and Charli Milgate riding Rambo in the 0.60-meter horse class, as well as a nail-biter in the 1.0 Meter class where the placings of the top three riders were separated by less than one second. Winners of each class were:

With the completion of the National Jumping Series, a series Champion and Reserve Champion will be named in nine different categories and announced at the CIEF’s annual awards dinner on June 18th where champion and reserve champion dressage riders will also be announced.
The 2016-17 horse show season will start up in the Fall and show dates will be posted on the CIEF website in late June. Spectators are always welcome at CIEF horse shows and admission is free.
