The Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association (CIREBA) makes an effort to streamline real estate signage, keeping the tropical paradise uncluttered and naturally beautiful. CIREBA is well known for their community involvement and support. The Association is de-cluttering real estate signs in places that multiple signs appear.  Residents around these areas will notice installation of a new, streamlined sign system, if the testing of the Silver Oaks area goes well.

CIREBA’s President, Jeanette Totten explained to CIREBA’s Members, “It is important that CIREBA continues to lead the way in being good stewards of the image of the Cayman Islands.”  When contacted for comments, Mrs. Totten furthered, “This is a project we have worked on for quite a while. CIREBAs board has been working with the Cayman Islands Department of Planning to ensure the safest solution is offered for the community, especially with signs on the side of the road that can impact visibility for traffic.  CIREBA is extremely pleased to be able to offer this to both the community and to our agents. The clutter of the other signs being randomly posted can be a bit unattractive, this will give a much cleaner look to our Islands, representing the true feel of the Cayman Islands.

Donna Sojstrom, CIREBA’s Office Manager was happy to inform Member Agents, “These new standards for sign placement will be added to the CIREBA policies.  This type of signage will help reinforce the public’s knowledge of the Multiple Listing System (MLS), and the fact that anyone using a CIREBA Agent has access to all the properties listed in the CIREBA database, thousands of properties…through the MLS system.”

The current sign up, by Silver Oaks is CIREBAs first streamlined sign.  This sign will be used for testing and evaluating purposes.  CIREBA will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the new sign through various measurements tools put in place by CIREBAs Marketing Committee and the CIREBA Member Agents working together.
