A Chinese zoo called the Shanghai Wild Animal Park pushes its animals to perform unnatural and silly acts for the entertainment of spectators. Recently, an animal act turned gruesome when a bear mauled a monkey after being forced into a bike race.

As shown in this censored video, spectators laughed as they watched the animals race, but their laughter turned to screams when the bikes crashed and the startled bear attacked the monkey competitor.

This is not the first time these cruel animal acts led to aggressive behavior. Restricting a wild animal and forcing it to perform unnatural tricks can lead to neurotic behavior and depression. Humans as well as other zoo animals have been attacked during performances, and spectators are traumatized by horrific displays when tricks go awry.
