CNCF/Butterfield Young At Arts Summer Theatre Arts Intensive presents
An Original Production by the 2015 YAA Intensive Members
Beyond the Skin is an original work created by this summer’s YAA company, who range in age from 12 – 17. Each member has developed a character for the script which addresses human tendency to ‘mask’ things – insecurities, fears and problems. With support from YAA drama, music and dance instructors, the young performers have delved deep to access their feelings on topics such as success, divorce, beauty, loneliness and more, and will use theatre arts to tell their stories. Don’t miss the opportunity to support the next generation of performers!
Shows will take place at Harquail Theatre on:
Friday, 7 August (7pm)
Saturday, 8 August (2pm & 7pm)
Sunday, 9 August (6pm)
TICKETS $10.

Young At Arts (YAA) is an educational youth programme of the Cayman National Cultural Foundation, supported by Butterfield. The YAA company is guided by an artistic philosophy that recognises that Caymanian cultural forms and enactments, and their creative interpretation and expression through art, are vital in the moulding of a Caymanian aesthetic. This philosophy is best articulated by our mindfulness of the fact that the highest forms of art, even when specific to the culture out of which they emerged, are capable of universal communication and understanding.
