Concacaf confirms 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinal and Play-In matchups
- Quarterfinals: Mexico vs Honduras, Canada vs Suriname, United States vs Jamaica, and Panama vs Costa Rica
- Play-In: Guadeloupe vs Cayman Islands, Cuba vs Saint Kitts and Nevis, French Guiana vs Belize, and Guyana vs Barbados
- Quarterfinal winners will advance to 2025 Concacaf Nations League Finals and qualify for 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup
Miami, FL (Wednesday, October 16, 2024) – Concacaf has confirmed the 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinal and Play-In matchups. The home-and-away series will take place during the FIFA Match Window of November 2024 and determine the teams advancing to the Concacaf Nations League Finals at Hollywood Park and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA, and the 2025 Gold Cup Prelims, respectively. The Quarterfinal winners will also qualify for next summer’s Gold Cup.
After the completion of Group Stage play for League A, which took place in September and October, the two top teams from each group, Costa Rica and Suriname (Group A) and Jamaica and Honduras (Group B), have advanced to the Quarterfinals, joining the four top-ranked pre-seeded League A teams: Canada, Mexico, Panama, and the United States (listed in alphabetical order).
The four Quarterfinal matchups are as follows:
QF1: Panama vs Costa Rica (fourth-ranked seeded team vs best first place)
QF2: United States vs Jamaica (third-ranked seeded team vs next first place)
QF3: Canada vs Suriname (second-ranked seeded team vs best second place)
QF4: Mexico vs Honduras (best-ranked seeded team vs next second place)
Furthermore, the third and fourth-place finishers have qualified for the 2025 Gold Cup Prelims, and the fifth and sixth places have progressed to the Concacaf Nations League Play-In.

In accordance with the competition’s regulations, the Quarterfinal matchups are determined based on the pre-seeded teams’ Concacaf Ranking as of October 2024 and the Group Stage Standings, which are as follows:

2024 CONCACAF NATIONS LEAGUE PLAY-IN
The Concacaf Nations League Play-In will also take place during the FIFA Match Window of November and consists of a single direct elimination round and eight teams: the fifth and sixth-place finishers from the League A Groups and the group winners and the best second-place finisher from League C.
The four Play-In pairings are as follows (League A vs League C):
PI1: Guadeloupe vs Cayman Islands (best 5th place vs best 2nd place)
PI2: Cuba vs Saint Kitts and Nevis (next 5th place vs 3rd best group winner)
PI3: French Guiana vs Belize (best 6th place vs 2nd best group winner)

2025 CONCACAF NATIONS LEAGUE FINALS
On October 9, Concacaf announced that the 2025 Concacaf Nations League Finals will be held from March 20 to 23, 2025, at Hollywood Park and SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The tournament will begin on Thursday, March 20, with the Semifinal matches. This will be followed by a concert featuring a top artist at YouTube Theater, and the Third-Place Match and Final on Sunday, March 23, where the CNL Champion will be crowned.
To determine the Semifinal matchups, the four participating teams will be ranked 1-4 based on the Quarterfinal results, with the team that accumulates the most points facing the team that accumulates the least points (1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3).
Tickets for the Concacaf Nations League Finals at Hollywood Park will be made available to the public on October 25 at 10 am PT (1 pm ET) via ConcacafNationsLeague.com and Ticketmaster.com.

2025 CONCACAF GOLD CUP
The 18th edition of the Concacaf Gold Cup will be played next summer, between June 14 and July 6, across 14 stadiums in 11 US and Canadian metropolitan areas.
