CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship Semifinals kickoff times changed
Key Matches for Tickets to Rio Olympic Games Shifted One Hour Forward
MIAMI (Monday, August 31, 2015) – The Confederation of North Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) today announced that the two October 10 semifinal matches of the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship have been shifted forward by one hour, and are now set to kickoff at 1 pm and 4 pm local time (3 pm and 6 pm ET) in the Salt Lake City, Utah, metropolitan area.
The semifinals and final of the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship 2015 will be contested at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. The Stub Hub Center in greater Los Angeles, Sporting Park in Kansas City and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado will each play host to group phase matches.
The tournament will qualify two teams directly to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. The third-place finisher in the CONCACAF Championship advances to a playoff against Colombia to determine an additional representative of the Americas in Brazil.
