Conyers Dill & Pearman promote Richards
Conyers Dill & Pearman has announced the promotion of Victor Richards (Director, Bermuda) and Norman Hau (Partner, Hong Kong). Winnie Wong from the Hong Kong office has been appointed to Counsel.

BERMUDA
Victor Richards
Victor joined Conyers in 2010. His practice includes all aspects of Bermuda law, with a particular focus on shipping and aircraft matters. Victor advises banks, owners, private equity firms and other corporate entities on all aspects of shipping and aircraft registration, finance and transactional matters including debt financings, restructurings, bond issues, IPO’s and securitizations. He is recognised in the 2018 edition of Legal 500 Caribbean (banking, finance & capital markets, corporate and commercial). Before joining Conyers, Victor spent five years training and working in London, where he gained experience working in project and asset finance.
HONG KONG
Norman Hau
Norman joined Conyers in 2012 as the first litigation lawyer based in the Hong Kong office. He is an experienced litigator whose practice covers all types of contentious matters, with a focus on restructuring, insolvency and shareholders’ disputes. He advises private equity houses, insolvency practitioners and corporate and individual shareholders typically regarding companies having financial/management difficulties. Norman also advises investors or management in disputes involving investment funds. His language skills and understanding of Chinese companies allow him to provide effective service to Chinese clients against Chinese or international opponents in contentious scenarios involving offshore laws. He is recognised in the 2018 edition of the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific (offshore).
Winnie Wong
Winnie joined Conyers in 2006. Her practice includes all aspects of corporate law with particular expertise in investment funds. Winnie specialises in the structuring and formation of all types of investment funds, including private equity, real estate, venture capital and hedge funds. She acts as offshore adviser for international and Asia-based fund managers on investment fund formation and ongoing matters.
