Corruption investigation – Second man interviewed and bailed
The man who was arrested yesterday on suspicion of inciting a breach of the corruption law has now been released on police bail.
As stated in our previous release, he returned today to face further questioning. He has now been bailed until early February 2013 while enquiries continue.

Premier interviewed and released on police bail
The Premier, McKeeva Bush, has been released on police bail following a number of interviews with Financial Crime Officers.
Mr. Bush has been placed on police bail until early February 2013, to allow further investigations to take place both here and abroad in connection with the allegations made against him.
Police can confirm that a considerable amount of property, including computer equipment, was seized during searches yesterday.
The investigations involving Mr. Bush are still very active and the RCIPS will be pursuing all lines of enquiry in consultation with the Legal Department.
The second man who was arrested yesterday in connection with the ongoing investigation is now back in police custody and is being questioned.

The Premier of the Cayman Islands, who was arrested yesterday in connection with a number of ongoing investigations, is now back in police custody.
He was released yesterday on police bail, with the condition that he return to face further questioning this morning.
The 2nd man arrested yesterday, who was also bailed last night, is due to return for further questioning later today.
