Countess of Wessex addresses 100 Women in Hedge Funds in Cayman Islands
Her Royal Highness Sophie, Countess of Wessex attended a luncheon at the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands on Monday 7th March, 2016 visiting with members of the philanthropic group 100 Women in Hedge Funds (100 WHF).
The Countess is a Global Ambassador for the 100 WHF Next Generation initiatives which advocate for increased diversity in the financial services industry. She offered up a few words, “I hope that every young woman that comes into the financial services industry here is going to take full advantage of what you have to offer; of what we have to offer to our next generations.”
The Countess was visiting the with her husband, His Royal Highness, Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex on a two day trip from Sunday, 6 March to Monday, 7 March 2016.
HRH, Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex, is the fourth child and youngest son of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. He has been married to Sophie, Countess of Wessex, since 1999. They have two children, a daughter Louise and a son James.
