Detectives are investigating an armed robbery after a couple was threatened in their own home.

A gang of men, armed with a handgun, machete and a knife robbed a couple around 12.30am Tuesday in Palm Dale, George Town.

They escaped with cash and a white Honda Odyssey.

A spokesman for the RCIPS said: “At approximately 00.30hrs Tuesday morning a 35 year old male and his 32 year girlfriend were robbed by three suspects at their residence in the Palm Dale area of George Town.

“One suspect was armed with a handgun, one armed with a machete and one armed with a knife.

“A small quantity of cash was stolen, also a white Honda Odyssey motor vehicle was stolen from outside the victims house.”

The suspects are described as about five foot ten inches, two slim and one stocky, and speaking with Jamaican accents.
