Even though we received calls saying the cruise ship “Thomson Dream” had gone aground they proved to be groundless or water-less but there was a little amount of truth in the rumour.

The cruise ship’s captain requested assistance from local tugboats to hold the ship in position due to the winds that were originally calm southeasterly shifting to not so calm south easterly. The ship  drifted closer to the shore and reef making the captain of the ship worried.

The ship left later without incident.
