On Wednesday (16) 13 Cuban migrants once again broke out of the Fairbanks Immigration Detention Centre around 11:00 am.

Ten were re-caught shortly after their escape but there are still 3 at large.

33 of the Cubans held at the Detention centre escaped last month and at the beginning of this month 3 more managed to get out.

Only one of the escapees from the previous incident is still on the loose.

Immigration officers are reminding the public it is an offence to help escapees in anyway.
