Cuban Migrants Repatriated
Immigration officials have repatriated 32 Cuban migrants over the past two weeks.
Today (Tuesday 22 April 2014) officials escorted back to Cuba a group of 23 migrants that had arrived in the Cayman Islands on Wednesday 5 March 2014.
A group of nine migrants that landed on 11 March of this year had returned home on Wednesday, April 9.
Thirty migrants remain at the Immigration Detention Centre where they await the outcome of their processing by the Immigration Department.
