Power has now been restored to all customers.

Some customers on Red Gate Road, Dorcy Drive, McClendon Drive, Industrial Park and the airport area as well as Elgin Avenue, Hospital road and South Church street are currently without power.

The outage is due to a damaged pole at the top of the Sparky Drive.

Our crews are on location working to restore power in a safe and efficient manner. Power should be restored in about three hours.

CUC regrets the inconvenience caused to customers affected by this outage.

Please be advised that power has been restored to all customers.

Some customers on Red Gate Road, Dorcy Drive, Industrial Park and the airport area as well as along Sparky Drive are currently without power.

The outage is due to a pole fire in the Sparky Drive area and our crews are working to restore.

Power should be restored in about two hours.

CUC regrets the inconvenience caused to customers affected by this outage.

Immigration Department Closed for the Day

Due to continuing issues related to this morning’s power outage the Immigration Department has now closed for the day. The Department apologises for any inconvenience.

The Department of Immigration has reopened for business, after closing earlier today due to a power outage.

 The Department apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Work is underway to restore power and officials will update the public as soon as the Department is able to reopen.
