CUC have announced there will be a power outage today Wednesday (18) in Bodden Town.

The outage is due to the second phase of upgrading lines through central Bodden Town along Shamrock Road. Customers from Monument Road to Webster Memorial United Church will experience interruptions to their electrical service between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

This includes Cumber Avenue, Gun Square Road and all side roads. Customers on Monument Road will not experience any interruptions to their electrical service

CUC apologises for this interruption and traffic diversion, which is necessary to facilitate the second phase of the upgrading of lines in the area.Motorists are advised that they will be diverted onto Anton Bodden Road (the Bodden Town Bypass) at the LIME Exchange and the Bodden Town Police Station. Only motorists needing access to the central Bodden Town area on Shamrock Road will be allowed access by the police.
