IAN and Pamela Mansell and her sister Marlene would have been the first on the dance floor at the recent concert given by Out of the Shadows as a celebration of their lives, so tragically cut short by a car accident in the Cayman Islands in May.

Friends from Dockenfield and from the Farnham Weyside Rotary Club gathered at The Princess Royal in Runfold to boogie the night away to tunes from the 60s.

The place was packed and the dance floor was full as their friends enjoyed the evening while also celebrating their lives. Bob Lampard and Paul Dawson from the Rotary Club were two of the founders of this popular group, which will soon be playing in Music in the Park in Gostrey Meadow.
