Tower is pleased to partner with the Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA) on the 2017 Taste of Cayman Food and Drink Festival.

The Taste of Cayman Food and Drink Festival will be held on Saturday, January 28th, 2017 on the Festival Green at Camana Bay. The festival is the Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA)’s biggest annual fundraiser and is one of Cayman’s largest and longest running annual events.

“We are extremely proud to have reached our 29th year,” said Tiffany Dixon-Ebanks, Executive Director of CITA. “We would like to thank our members and the general community for their involvement throughout the years. Without the attendees, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers this event would not be possible.”

In order to ensure continued success and due to the tremendous growth of the event, CITA has engaged, after a competitive bidding process, the services of local marketing, communications and events agency, Tower, to oversee the management of the festival.

Tower has been in operation for over 15 years and has been involved in the organisation and promotion of many local events including the annual Cayman Islands Healthcare Conference and multiple local sporting events such as the Cayman Airways Invitational Youth Cup, the Mercuryman Triathlon and Off The Beaten Track.

“We have placed confidence in Tower’s ability to execute Taste of Cayman professionally and skilfully,” Ms Dixon-Ebanks said. “The Board members on CITA’s Events Committee look forward to Tower’s prowess in event management allowing Taste of Cayman to be even bigger and better this year.”

Lynne Byles, Managing Director of Tower, said the team at Tower are excited to be involved with the festival, and look forward to working with CITA and taking the reins on this longstanding culinary event.
