It is with much sadness we have to report the death of Catherine (Cathy) Wilson who died in England yesterday (30) after a long illness. Cathy was unable to walk during the majority of their life together after a hysterectomy operation.

Cathy’s husband of over thirty years was Christopher Wilson, son of Colin Wilson, iNews Cayman’s Editor – in- Chief.

Christopher spent many years in the Cayman Islands and worked for his father at JEC Building Consultants Ltd, before leaving to go back to the UK where he met Cathy.

Christopher announced his wife’s death on Facebook.

Cathy leaves four sons that Christopher helped raise up.
