Delegation to Attend Brazil Investment Summit
A Ministry of Finance (Financial Services) delegation will visit São Paulo, Brazil, during the week of 23 April to attend the Brazil Investment Summit (BIS).
BIS is the largest international investment conference in Brazil, where leading international and Brazilian funds and investors come to address advances in market regulation, fund strategy, trading and asset allocation. More information on BIS is available at http://www.terrapinn.com/conference/brasil-investment-summit/.
Two key reasons for the delegation’s visit are the summit’s focus on how to find the best investment opportunities inside and outside of Brazil, and how to form beneficial partnerships in the region and internationally.
This focus is in line with the delegation’s objectives of exploring opportunities and challenges for business between jurisdictions, and building a network in Brazil to assist in enhancing existing and future opportunities. In addition to attending BIS, for which the Cayman Islands is a sponsor, members of the delegation will attend meetings with professional firms and associations in São Paulo.
More details will be provided after the delegation returns on 30 April.
