Deputy Premier visits Turtle Farm, Transport Office
At the farm, the ministerial team visited all the attractions including: the pools inhabited by turtles of varying ages, the nesting area, the turtle hatchery, the turtle snorkelling pool, the aviary and the audio-visual show. In addition, Mr. Kirkconnell also spent time with the staff of the gift store.
While on site, the Minister also attended the Turtle Farm Board’s meeting, his first since taking over as Tourism Minister.
At Hell Post Office, Tourism Attractions Board Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gilbert Connolly was on hand to conduct the Minister on the tour of the premises.
Mr. Kirkconnell later visited the Public Transport Unit in Rankin’s Plaza to learn first-hand how the services that the unit provides make it an integral part of the Cayman Islands’ tourism product.
