Can’t afford $20 million for David Bowie’s Caribbean house? Now you can rent it instead

Want to live like Ziggy Stardust? Well now you can, but just for a little bit.
David Bowie and Imam’s former Caribbean home is up for rent for the first time and at a rather inaccessible price point – $70,000 a week! The house went for sale earlier this year also, coming in at $20 million.
The home is owned by British billionaire Simon Dolan. The holiday retreat has been called the Mandalay Estate since 1989 and is located on the private island of Mustique that’s part of St Vincent and The Grenadines. The retreat offers all the best in tropical get-aways, with amazing
The 6.2 acre home is decorated in Balinese style and featured in Architectural Digest in 1992, when Bowie posed shirtless with a saxophone for the shoot. Speaking to the Digest then he said, ““It’s a fantasy island. Everybody just builds a getaway from it all so they can get there and see the same people they see all around, but in a holiday situation.”
The fees are pretty steep, but they do drop between Christmas and Easter to a mere $40,000 a week!
