Teenager found safe and well

Ashley McLaughlin has been found safe and well. She was traced in the George Town area this afternoon.

STORY TUE 26 March 2013

Diabetic teenager Ashley McLaughlin (15) left her home in East End around 7.00am on Wednesday 20 March to attend the Clifton Hunter High School. She did not return home after school and has not been in contact with members of her family since. Ashley has been reported missing on a number of previous occasions. She was last reported missing in early March and was found in the George Town area a few days later.

It is not known at this stage if Ashley is in possession of insulin to appropriately medicate her diabetes.

Ashley is described as being about 5’5” in height, brown complexion, shoulder length dark hair, big eyes, and has a dark spot/mole on the left side of her nose. When she left home she was wearing her Clifton Hunter uniform of blue shirt, long khaki pants and  black shoes. She was carrying a black  and white school bag

Anyone who has any information about Ashley’s movements since last Wednesday, or who knows of her current whereabouts, is asked to contact Bodden Town police station on 9472220 or 6492220.
