The Sixth International Marine Debris Conference (6IMDC)  is slated for 12-16th March 2018 in San Diego, California. Mr. Christopher Corbin, Programme Manager of the Pollution and Communication Sub-programmes will be participating and will be involved in discussions on the Caribbean Node for Marine Litter and other Pollution/ Marine litter priorities.

Our oceans are full of items that should not be there. It is no secret that marine debris is one of the world’s most wide-spread pollution problems facing the world’s oceans and waterways. The Conference  organized by the UN Environment and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration will highlight the complexity of the marine debris challenge facing the international community and enhance dialogue on the solutions whilst fostering partnerships.
