If you’re looking for the most magical cruise on Earth, Disney Cruise Line has some exciting new itineraries for you in 2021.
Disney Cruise Line is opening bookings for its spring 2021 voyages to the public this week, according to a statement by the company. In addition to the new itineraries, the cruise line will also be launching two new ships in 2022 and 2023. The new Disney Wish will begin voyages in early 2022, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Until then, the cruise line has plenty of options on its four other ships – Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic, and Disney Wonder. These ships will be setting sail from Port Canaveral, FL; Miami, FL; Galveston, TX; San Diego, CA; and New Orleans, LA.
Three ships will be setting sail from Florida during the Spring of 2021, including the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Magic, reps for the company said in a statement. From Port Canaveral, guests can take three- or four-night cruises to the Bahamas aboard the Disney Dream, while the Disney Fantasy will set sail on seven-night trips for Eastern and Western Caribbean destinations. These trips are available between January and May 2021. In Miami, passengers can choose between three-, four-, and five-night itineraries to the Western Caribbean and Bahamas, including Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. These trips are available between January and May 2021.
The Disney Magic features dining at Rapunzel’s Royal Table restaurant as well as many thrilling entertainment options. The Disney Dream is also known for its Broadway-style rendition of “Beauty and the Beast,” while the Disney Fantasy touts many Star Wars-themed activities and entertainment, according to the Disney Cruise Line website.
The Disney Wonder will have a very busy year, with several different itineraries planned for certain months, setting sail from three different ports. Fans of “The Princess and the Frog” will especially love setting sail on this ship since it has a themed restaurant called Tiana’s Place, inspired by the movie, according to the Orlando Sentinel. The ship also features special entertainment and shows like Frozen, A Musical Spectacular, and a Marvel Superhero Academy.
Between January and February 2021, you can find trips aboard the Disney Wonder from Galveston and New Orleans. From Galveston, the ship will set sail on four- and six-night voyages to Grand Cayman, in the Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico, or seven-night Bahamian voyages to Key West, Nassau, the Bahamas, and Castaway Cay. These trips will begin in January 2021. In New Orleans, the ship will ring in Mardi Gras with four- and five-night trips to the Western Caribbean as well as seven-night cruises to the Bahamas (and Castaway Cay) between late January and February 2021. One very special cruise will include a 14-night itinerary that sails through the Panama Canal and ends in San Diego.
From San Diego, California, the ship will also be offering three- to seven-night trips to Baja and the Mexican Riviera. These trips will only be available in March, April, and May 2021. There is also one special trip planned for mid-May that will sail from San Diego to Vancouver, Canada.
Prices for these itineraries are not yet announced. Bookings will be open on Thursday, Oct. 3.
