Disney’s holiday cheer

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, 4 December 2017—Disney Cruise Line in conjunction with the Ministry and Department of Tourism paid a Christmas visit to the Lighthouse School in Prospect delivering holiday cheer to the students and teachers alike. The visit featured Disney characters Captain Mickey and Pluto alongside Disney VoluntEARS, crewmembers of the Disney Magic who donate their spare time to benefit worthwhile causes at ports of call.
On hand to help pass out Christmas gifts to the students was Mr. David Wight, MLA, Councillor, Ministry of Tourism and Ms. Rosa Harris, Director of Tourism. The Ministry and Department of Tourism supports and seeks to ensure that its cruise partnerships have social components that benefit the Caymanian community.
