Double dose of fun at Books & Books

Young booklovers and their parents can meet New York Times bestselling children’s author Nancy Krulik at Books & Books, Camana Bay on Saturday, February 25 at 5pm. This special event will offer something for both boys and girls. First, Nancy will present the latest book in her popular George Brown, Class Clown series, Attack of the Tighty Whities! Then, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her beloved Katie Kazoo Switcheroo series, she will share her newest book, Super Special: Going Overboard!

Nancy’s interactive presentation will include a fun and educational trivia game and afterwards, the acclaimed author will be on hand to sign copies of her books, which are recommended for children ages 7 and older.

This free event is part of the Books & Books International Visiting Author Series, generously sponsored by Camana Bay, the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and Sunshine Suites Resort.

About the Books

Attack of the Tighty Whities!
In the seventh book in the popular George Brown, Class Clown series, George learns the hard way that an onion a day won’t keep the Super Burp away—despite what his best friend Alex might’ve hoped. It’s bad enough that one of his pesky, magic belches escapes at the mall and another lets loose on a miniature golf course, but George is representing his school at the spelling bee. A burp at the bee could definitely spell D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R.

Super Special: Going Overboard!
With indoor mini golf, a chance to swim with dolphins, and her best friend, Suzanne, on board, Katie’s cruise vacation sounds like an ocean of fun! But, of course, the magic wind appears—twice in this Super Special—and blows everything off course! Young readers love the black-and-white illustrations that bring this fun chapter book series to life.

A large selection of books from Nancy’s George Brown, Class Clown and Katie Kazoo Switcheroo series is now available at Books & Books.
