A study in American Journal of OB/GYN showed that pregnant women have a good antibody response to CoViD-19 vaccine which they pass on to their unborn baby through the placenta and to their newborn through breastmilk. 2. By the middle of April, 34 states will have opened up vaccine to anyone over 16 years old 3. 14 day average number of new cases up 4% over the average from 2 weeks ago. 69,559 new cases reported yesterday. 4. Pfizer has begun clinical trial of vaccine in kids 6 months to 11 years old 5. Vaccinating people who have already had CoViD-19 boosts their ability to fight off variants according to a study in the Journal Science. Shows importance of vaccinating both uninfected and previously infected person to elicit cross-variant neutralizing antibodies. |
