Happy New Year As 2020 draws to a close, I want to wish each and every one of you a Happy and Healthy 2021. If you are home tomorrow night and watch the Ball Drop (as you should!), just know that our team, along with some great partners, have been working very hard to create a safe production environment. Everyone you see on your screen and hundreds you will never see who are behind the scenes have all been CoViD-19 tested, health screened and educated on CoViD best practices. All the mobile TV production trucks and trailers have state-of-the art air filtration units in them, there are plexiglass dividers between positions in the control rooms and everyone knows the pillars of good public health practices: social distancing, face coverings and hand washing. It’s been a tremendously rewarding experience working with the professionals who are producing the show and broadcasting it around the world. So get comfy tomorrow night in front of your television, have your champagne ready and settle in for a great show. It is gratifying to say that since I first started writing these newsletters back in February, I have not missed a single weekday that wasn’t a holiday. There will be no newsletter tomorrow or Friday and we will pick up where we left off on Monday, January 4th 2021. Stay safe, we will all get through this together. Warmest regards to you and your families, Dr. Stu Weiss |
