* Issuing of Electors ID Cards
The Elections Office wishes to advise all electors who have only just registered and those who did not previously apply for an electors registration card that for the remainder of this week no new cards will be issued at the Smith Road Centre.
Only those who previously had cards may obtain replacement cards during this period. This arrangement is temporary due to the fact that Elections Office’s technicians are out in the districts during this week.
New cards will again be issued commencing on Tuesday 23rd April, 2013. Electors are asked to be patient with the technicians who only have one new printer and a few almost obsolete units.
The Elections Office wishes to commend electors who are making an effort to obtain their cards. By so doing they will expedite the voting process on Election Day. All efforts will be made to accommodate as many electors as possible in the timeframe remaining.
