The most important platform for decentralized energy supply in the agricultural sector, the EnergyDecentral exhibition takes place in parallel with EuroTier, the leading exhibition for technical livestock solutions, 12 to 15 November, Hanover, Germany. Spanning the entire value chain of renewable energy production, EnergyDecentral attracts more than 270 exhibitors covering trends and innovations. Alternative energy sources, security of supply and decarbonization are key topics. Over four days, the EnergyDecentral trade fair is open from 9 am to 6 pm. Visitors purchasing tickets in advance will benefit from discounts. Travel partners from a range of countries offer international visitors numerous accommodation options. With the new EuroTier app available for download now, visitors are also in good hands.
Admission tickets for EnergyDecentral 2024 can now be purchased online. A day ticket purchased in advance costs 31 Euros, resulting in savings of 10 euros compared with tickets purchased at the door. The season ticket at 72.50 Euro gives admission on all four days of the trade fair. A “Green Day Ticket” can be purchased for a small surcharge with proceeds supporting local reforestation programs in Germany.
Children – up to and including the age of 12 – can visit the trade fair free of charge with prior registration for a “children’s ticket” in the online ticket shop.
Organizer of EuroTier and EnergyDecentral is the DLG (German Agricultural Society), an organization that is dedicated to promoting the sharing of agricultural knowledge and with membership open to all. DLG members enjoy free admission on two days of the trade fair.

New EuroTier app: always up to date
An ideal complement to the trade fair, the free EuroTier app is a must-have for all visitors to EnergyDecentral / EuroTier 2024. The app enables exhibitor and product searches and delivers additional background information as well as a site plan and an up-to-date calendar of events. With the help of the match-making tool, visitors can identify exhibitors that match their interests and network with contacts and other users, write messages and make appointments. Convenient travel and attractive accommodation options
EnergyDecentral 2024 can be conveniently reached by train, car and plane. Direct connections by public transport or by shuttle bus are available to exhibition grounds from Hanover Airport.
Rail and local public transport
Selected long-distance (Deutsche Bahn) and some regional trains operating during EuroTier / EnergyDecentral will include an extra stop directly at the Exhibition Grounds in Hanover/Messe Laatzen. A 5-minute walk to the entrance “West 1” takes visitors to the trade fair.
Visitors traveling from Hanover Central Station can use the local rail network (Stadtbahn) by following the blue signs marked “U” leading to line 8, the direct line to the trade fair. Alternatively, the suburban train (S-Bahn), line S4, also goes to the Exhibition Grounds (Messebahnhof Laatzen). Both trips take around 20 minutes. Visitors should note that the exhibitor pass does not work as a public transport ticket.
Travelling by car
Recommended navigation system: The recommended navigation system is the NUNAV app that can be downloaded to a mobile phone for free. Visitors should enter EuroTier, not the address.
Driving instructions is coordinated to actively prevent traffic jams.
Airport
Hannover is connected to international flight routes. Visitors traveling from the airport should take the local rail services, line S5, to Hannover central station. Several local lines go directly to EuroTier / EnergyDecentral: S4 or the local tramway “Stadtbahn” lines U8 and U18. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the station Messe/Laatzen.
Alternatively, an exclusive EuroTier / EnergyDecentral-Shuttle Service is available during the trade fair for 25 Euros one way. The shuttle runs continually. For further information and bookings, see here.
Taxis at the exhibition grounds
Taxi stands are located at the North, South and West entrances.
Alternatively, an exclusive EuroTier / EnergyDecentral shuttle service will be available throughout the trade fair period for EUR 25 each way. The shuttle bus, which is not bound to a schedule, will run as required.
For visitors arriving by car, a range of parking areas are clearly signposted.
