Detectives have confirmed that escaped prisoner, Charlton Ebanks, is now wanted for a string of George Town burglaries.

The burglaries occurred in the days before he was arrested. Since his arrest information has come to light which makes him a suspect in a number of burglaries in the George Town / Snug Harbour areas.

Ebanks, who was arrested on Wednesday 16 November in connection with a road-traffic offence and an outstanding warrant, escaped from his police guard at the Cayman Islands Hospital on the morning of Thursday 17 November.

Despite extensive enquiries with his friends and family no trace of Ebanks has been found.
