ESPN Caribbean Airing Now Live Coverage of the 2016 International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s World Twenty20
ESPN Caribbean is now airing exclusive coverage of the prestigious sixth ICC World Twenty20 (T20) competition with the day-night action live from cricketing arenas in Mumbai, Nagpur, Kolkata, Dharamsala, Bangalore, Mohali and Delhi via ESPN Caribbean and ESPN Play (www.espnplay.com) — ESPN’s multiscreen live and on-demand broadband service.
The Super 10 features 20 games with 2012 champions, West Indies, banking on the likes of superstars such as Dwayne Bravo and skipper Darren Sammy in Group 1 alongside current title-holders, Sri Lanka, who eliminated them in the semis in the last tournament in 2014. England, South Africa and Group B winners, Afghanistan round out proceedings. Group 2 consists of last year’s beaten finalist, India, as well as Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Group A winners, Bangladesh. The top two from each Group will proceed to the semis on March 30 (Delhi) and 31 (Mumbai) en route to the April 3 grand finale in Kolkata.
ESPNcricinfo Match Day will air at the end of every Super 10 match day recapping all the day’s statistics and highlights. Follow all the action at #ESPNWT20 as ESPN Caribbean continues coverage of the West Indies’ participation in major ICC tournaments, connecting the region’s fans with the events they love.
