Royal Cayman Islands Police traffic investigators  are continuing investigations at the scene of a fatal collision.

At 1:22 am on today’s date, Saturday 22nd November 2014, police received a report of black BMW motor car colliding with a utility pole in the vicinity of the Lighthouse restaurant Breakers, Bodden Town.

The sole occupant, a 39  year old Caymanian male was transported to the George Town Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Information from the investigation revealed that the deceased was in the East End area prior to the collision.

The road way is now cleared.

Anyone who was in the vicinity of the collision and who may have witnessed the incident or have any information that can assist the investigation is asked to contact George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
