FCO facilitates disaster management refresher workshop to Cayman Islands
The Incident Command – National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) interface training workshop that began this morning (Tuesday, 10 November 2015) at the Marriott Grand Cayman Resort runs through Thursday, 12 November 2015 when tabletop exercises are scheduled. The NEOC is activated and run by Hazard Management Cayman Islands (HMCI) during all natural and man-made disasters affecting the Cayman Islands.
Participants include from CI Government, Emergency Services personnel such as from Fire, Police and Prison; Chairs of NEOC
The workshop agenda covers from basics including the value of an Incident Command System (ICS) operating during natural and man-made hazards to the minute details of how the system works for the best possible management of the disaster.

Disaster Management Consultant from Florida, Mr. Keith Holman, conducts the three-day training workshop that started today (Tuesday, 10 November 2015) at the Marriott Grand Cayman Resort. Mr. Holman’s visit is facilitated by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
