On Sunday December 16th I was at Cayman Islands First Baptist Church for their 2018 Festival of Christmas Praise.

It started promptly at 7pm and the two hour plus presentation flew by.

Pr. David Jorge conducted one of the Islands’ finest choirs to welcome Christmas in with a very professional performance.

I missed this amazing choir at this year’s Parade of Lights and watching and listening perform ancient and modern renderings of well known and not so well known Christmas carols more then made up for my disappointment.

Even though this was an encore performance, as they performed all week around the districts and even did one at the church on Friday, the church was packed.

Now I can start planning my Christmas and trust it doesn’t blow past by me.

The choir sang their heats and out and how they are able to stand on the narrow raised tiers platform for that length of time without showing any sign of tiredness is a miracle in its self.

Well done and I now have to wait for Easter.
