Final 20-player rosters announced for 2015 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship

Tournament kicks off in Kansas City on October 1, Group B in Los Angeles the following day

Miami (Friday, September 25, 2015) – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) made public today the official rosters submitted by the eight Participating Member Associations for the 2015 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship, to be played from October 1-13, in four cities across the U.S.

The Stub Hub Center in Carson, CA, Sporting Park in Kansas City, KS and Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado will each play host to group phase doubleheaders of the Olympic Qualifying Championship. The semifinals, third-place match and the final will be played at Rio Tinto Stadium, in Sandy, Utah.

The championship will qualify two CONCACAF national teams directly to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The third place finisher in the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship will advance to a playoff against CONMEBOL’s Colombia, second place finisher in South America’s Youth Football Championship.

Broadcast partners for the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship include Telemundo/NBC Universo platforms across the United States, and TV Azteca, Televisa and TDN in Mexico.
