Firearms Operation in Savannah Thu Morning (25) results in 5 arrests, recovered firearm & drugs

Around 6AM this morning, 25 August, officers executed an operation at a residence in Savannah that involved the police helicopter. During that operation five arrests were made for different offences, and a firearm, ammunition, and a quantity of a substance suspected to be ganja were recovered.
This operation came about as a result of diligent and skilful police work in recent days into an incident early Tuesday morning, 23 August, in which shots had been fired at a residence on Omega Drive in the Prospect Area of George Town. (Original press release below)
As a result of this operation, the following arrests were made:
Two men, ages 19 and 22, of Bodden Town, both arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession with intent to supply ganja;
A man, age 30, of the Bahamas, arrested on suspicion of illegal landing, possession with intent to supply ganja, and possession of an unlicensed firearm;
A woman, age 21, of Bodden Town, arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession with intent to supply ganja;
A woman, age 57, of Bodden Town, arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm, possession with intent to supply ganja, and knowingly assisting an illegal immigrant to remain in the Cayman Islands (immigration offence). The woman is a Senior Immigration Officer.
All of the persons arrested are currently in Police Custody.
