Cayman Pirates Week Begins

The start of this year’s Cayman Islands Pirates Week began Friday (8) with a truly spectacular Fireworks display at Hogstye Bay.

Crowds in hundreds packed the sea front to see flashes and hear bangs galore.

Many, many children with mechanical bubble blowers in their hands, shouted with joy at the wondrous colours in the sky.

It was one of the best displays I have been to.

If the rest of Pirates Week lives up to this start it is going to be a glorious affair.
