The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) is pleased to announce the Cayman Captive Forum (CCF) continues to expand, attracting a broader industry following, with close to 200 attendees coming for the first time to the conference which starts next week in the Cayman Islands. 

Now into its 30^th year, the Cayman Captive Forum is recognised as the world’s largest captive insurance conference, regularly attracting over 1400 people to the three-day event. Even taking into account its consistent appeal, particularly with the North American market, such a high degree of interest from new delegates is unparalleled in recent years, organisers said. 

“We are extremely excited to welcome so many new delegates to the Cayman Islands for the 30^th Cayman Captive Forum,” said Alanna Trundle, current CCF Chair. “In addition to our traditional key-note speaker and cutting-edge agenda, covering the latest trends in captive insurance, along with deep-dive educational presentations and our famous social events, this year’s programme has been enhanced with activities specifically aimed to welcome our new delegates and ensure they have an interesting and fulfilling conference experience,” Trundle added. 

The Cayman Captive Forum 2023 takes place at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman on November 28^th to November 30^th. In addition to helping new attendees plan out their sessions, with multiple track options available, conference associates will also explain how best to maximise networking opportunities at the sponsor lounges and receptions, as well as making sure no one misses the spectacular fireworks display during the Thursday night Closing Reception on the beach at the Ritz-Carlton.

This year’s Cayman Captive Forum is also distinguished with two keynote speakers, both of whom are certain to captivate delegates. Number one New York Times bestselling author Ben Nemtin will look at managing anxiety from the perspective of “Making the Impossible Possible”, while respected cybersecurity authority Theresa Payton will draw on her experience as the first female to serve as White House Chief Information Officer.

With a focus on technology, the Cayman Captive Forum agenda will examine the impact Artificial Intelligence will have on the industry, as well as looking at cybersecurity, managing virtual practices and the complex world of cyber renewals. Other topical areas of discussion include the industry’s embrace of Environmental Social Governance (ESG) issues, how to design an Enterprise Risk Management program, innovative captive uses and the thriving reinsurance sector in the Cayman Islands.
