Flags to be lowered in Cayman Islands following Manchester attack
At the request of the Governor of the Cayman Islands, all flags should be lowered to half-mast as a mark of respect for victims of the suicide-bombing in Manchester, U.K. last night (Monday, 22 May 2017).
The correct procedure for half-masting a flag is to raise the flag to the normal flying position and then to lower to one-third below that. If more than one flag is flown, any others should preferably also be half-masted.
The flags should be lowered until further notice.
