Fountainhead team members receive prestigious Paul Harris Awards
“WHATEVER ROTARY MAY MEAN TO US, TO THE WORLD IT WILL BE KNOWN BY THE RESULTS IT ACHIEVES.” —PAUL P. HARRIS
Fountainhead Business Development is extremely proud to announce that two members of their team, Rob Martin and Mark McBryan, are recipients of the Paul Harris Fellow award from the Rotary Foundation. The presentation of the Paul Harris Fellow recognition is The Rotary Foundation’s way of expressing its appreciation for the substantial contribution to its humanitarian and educational programs. It is named after the founder, Paul Harris, a Chicago lawyer who started Rotary International with three business associates in 1905.
Rotarians designate a Paul Harris Fellow as a tribute to a person whose actions and contributions demonstrate a shared purpose with the objectives of the Rotary Foundation.
Rob Martin, an active Rotarian with The Rotary Club of Grand Cayman, has been recognized for his outstanding contribution in relation to the successful 2014 Rotary District 7020 Annual Conference. Rob is passionate about marketing and branding and through his role at Fountainhead he embraced the opportunity to develop the branding, communications, media and signage strategy for this years’ district conference. This included the magazine, agenda and general conference materials for delegates from across the Caribbean region. The District Conference was hosted this year by the Rotary clubs of the Cayman Islands, and brought together over 800 Rotarians from the Caribbean region to learn, share ideas and engage to help contribute more to their respective communities.
Mark McBryan’s award is quite unusual in that Mark is not actually a Rotarian, however he is a technical communications expert and a devoted family man who recognizes that his skills can be used to help others. Through Rotary Sunrise, who are committed to literacy and youth projects, Mark and Rob developed the LiFE (Literacy is For Everyone) brand, and launched and continue to maintain the LiFE website pro bono. The mission of LiFE is to significantly increase the literacy levels in the Cayman Islands in both children and adults, and they work across the community to give residents the opportunity to improve their quality of life through literacy programs.
Both Rob and Mark give tirelessly of their time to support the Cayman community and Fountainhead would like to congratulate both of them on being recognized for their contribution with this very special Paul Harris award.
