Fourteen young beauties to compete for Little Miss Bahamas crown

NASSAU, Bahamas — This Whit Monday, May 20th, 2013, fourteen (14) beautiful little angels will take to the stage of the Wyndham Rain Forest Theatre for the 10th annual Little Miss Bahamas Pageant doors open at 4pm. Dubbed the 2013 Pink Pearls, the eager contestants from all across the Bahamas are hoping to capture the prestigious Little Miss Bahamas crown.

The contestants will compete in four age categories: (5-7) (7-9) (10-12) (12-14) with a winner in each category who then hope to be crown the overall winner, earning the title Little Miss Bahamas 2013.

All of the age category winners have the opportunity to travel to the World’s Little Miss Pageant competing for thousands of dollars in scholarship cash bonds and to be named the official winners of the World’s Little Miss Pageant.

In addition Little Miss Bahamas 2013 receives an all expense paid trip to New Orleans, an Ipad, 19″ television, scholarship for one year of foreign language, scholarship for one year of modeling and etiquette training, gift certificates, photo portrait, jewelry, piece of luggage, a pizza party and weekend stay at the Abaco all-inclusive luxury Bahama Beach Resort.

The pageant is celebrating its 10th year and boasts of sending outstanding representatives for the pass ten years to the world’s largest pageant for little ladies, World’s Little Miss. This year the international pageant is being held in New Orleans, LA, where five of the vying beauties will officially represent the Bahamas. The outgoing queens, have been busy in helping to prepare the angels for their journey.

The reigning queens are Tereckiann Bain Little Miss Bahamas, Jaliah Nabby Our Little Miss, Corey Higgs Little Ideal Miss, Zoey Brown Little Miss Pre-teen and Antonique Greenslade Little Miss La Petite. They will all crown their successors on May 20th at the Wyndham Rain Forest Theatre. Sponsors include Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth Sports & Culture, SuperClubs Breezers, Wyndham Resorts, Bahamas Beach Club Gold Sponsor, Dominoes Pizza, McDonalds, Majestic Tours and Dolphins Encounters.
