Future win first of season
In the opening game at the Ed Bush Field, Future SC won its first game in the 2011-12 PL beating Cayman Athletics SC by 2 nil, goals scored by Denver Barnes (65’) and Paul Brown (82’). Afterwards Elite SC kept the top in the League beating the second place Bodden Town FC by 2 nil; Bodden Town dropped to the third place. Elite goals came from Alex Belcher on the 32nd and 64th minutes.
At The Annex Field, George Town SC recovered from two consecutive defeats beating Tigers FC by 2 X 1, goals from Justin Pierre (44’) and David Harding (55’) for George Town and Miguel Simms (84’) for Tigers FC.
Fans enjoyed the highest score for the Premier League week 11 when Scholars Int’l beat Roma UFC by 4 nil to finish the year in the second place with only one point behind Elite SC; Scholars’ goals came from Wayne Smith (8’ and 32’), O’Neil Taylor (71’) and Mark Ebanks (80’).
The 2011-12 Cayman Premier League will resume on 8 January 2012.
