George Town Primary School gets help from CUC
CUC’s President and CEO, Mr. Richard Hew, made a presentation of the lunch kits to the School’s Principal Ms. Marie Martin, her Deputy Principal Mrs. Dorothy Bodden-Wilson and six students to start the new school year.
Mr. Hew stated that, “CUC has adopted George Town Primary school and we are always thinking of ways to assist with the ongoing growth and development of the school and its students. We are happy to be able to support the students in this way and hope that they enjoy the lunch kits.”
Also, CUC volunteers recently assisted with the cleaning up of classrooms and repairing of equipment in order to ensure that the environment was ready for the children.
Ms. Martin says, “The staff and students are extremely appreciative of these thermal lunch kits , which students will find handy and convenient. CUC has always been supportive of programmes at our school and continues to demonstrate good corporate citizenship to the community and in particular to the George Town Primary School.”
CUC has been active in the Cayman community for many years and is committed to providing ongoing support to the Island’s young people.
