Best of the series July 30, 2010

Having read all seven of the Dusky MacMorgan series, I think that this is the best of them. Dusky is not quite as “over the top”, ala Clive Cussler’s Dirk Pitt, as in the earlier stories. While no where near as good as White’s Doc Ford series, it’s interesting to read his earlier effort. Any Randy Wayne White fan should take the time to read this entire series. They’re short, and fast, reads, so no excuses!
Early Randy Wayne White Keeps Readers Involved January 10, 2013
By John B. Thomas
What a great way to mix adventure and Grand Cayman into an enjoyable book. Much of the story helps the reader “unpeel” the relationship between Dusky and his Irish “chum” before they get into the actual rescue. Toward the end of the book, the violence explodes but suddenly relaxes as the kidnapped Thomas is discovered.

Love all of White’s books – have read them all and have never been disappointed. Wish he’d write more.
