Grant Thornton Partners with Plastic Free Cayman to Host Safehaven Cleanup
Grant Thornton Cayman participated in “GT in the community”, a global initiative launched in 2014, which mobilises Grant Thornton’s 73,000 professionals across 150 markets to support local causes.
Partnering with Plastic Free Cayman, the firm held a cleanup of the Safehaven area in West Bay, Grand Cayman, as part of their efforts to preserve the natural beauty of the Cayman Islands.
“We are grateful to Plastic Free Cayman for their collaboration and support, to our team for their efforts on the day and to our 2024 summer interns who played a key role in planning and coordinating the day’s activities,” says Dara Keogh, Managing Partner of Grant Thornton (Cayman) LLP.
Plastic Free Cayman, a registered not-for-profit, works to reduce single-use plastic in the Cayman Islands through awareness campaigns and community cleanups.
