Growth for Collas Crill in Cayman Islands

Collas Crill in Cayman has continued to grow with the appointment of associate Aoife Madden to its commercial team and the promotion of Tamika Williams to junior corporate administrator within Collas Crill Corporate Services Limited (CCCS).

Aoife has experience in all areas of commercial and company law, in particular on matters related to investment funds, banking and corporate finance, security and commercial transactions.

She regularly advises on all aspects of investment fund structuring, both hedge and private equity funds, including the launch, all regulatory elements, ongoing operations, restructuring and winding down.

Prior to joining Collas Crill, Aoife practiced with another leading offshore firm in the Cayman Islands as well as with McCann FitzGerald in Dublin.

Aoife is qualified to practice law in the Cayman islands, England & Wales and the Republic of Ireland. She is a member of the Cayman Islands Law Society, the Law Society of Ireland and 100 Women in Hedge Funds.

Tamika, who originally joined the firm in 2015 as their receptionist, will assist the CCCS team with the registration and maintenance of Cayman Islands companies and partnerships.

Part of her role will include maintaining the client database, collection of due diligence documentation, attending to statutory filings and providing corporate documents as well as client billing and collections.

Tamika will learn the relevant Companies Registry and internal CCCS procedures, with a particular emphasis on compliance. As part of their commitment to her continuing development, the firm will sponsor Tamika’s enrolment in the ICSA Professional Administrator certification course this year.

Alan de Saram, managing partner of Collas Crill, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Aoife to the firm and congratulate Tamika on her promotion. Aoife’s experience with offshore corporate structures and Tamika’s resolve and ambition makes them both great additions to our team as we continue to expand our practice in Cayman.”
