HBO announces its August movie lineup premieres in the Caribbean
Battlefield America (Cinedigm) – Sean Lewis (Marques Houston), is a young, charismatic, successful businessman who lands a community service sentence and falls in with a group of misfit kids who need mentoring. With the help of professional dance instructor Sara (Mekia Cox), he works to get the kids ready for a big underground dance competition. Directed by Chris Stokes.
Dark Shadows (Warner Bros. Pictures) – An imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp), is set free and returns to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection. Directed by Tim Burton.
The Odd Life of Timothy Green (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) – Cindy and Jim Green (Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton) bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. When young Timothy (CJ Adams) shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim — and their small town of Stanleyville — learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts.
